A pandemic return

Yes! I know the last post said something about keeping this blog updated but, oh well, it took a while. So, what’s been up with the Divine lately. Well, obviously the 2.0-version of the band broke up. Nope. I don’t talk much about that. Looking forwards is truly Divine!

It took me about 3 years to find inspiration to write songs again, but now it’s happening. Met up with some old friends to record some top-secret-surprise-stuff and it felt totally Divine so, Violent Divine now is in version 3.0. Very happy about this. And, the band is currently in the studio recording the first 3 songs than might be included on the 6th VIolent Divine album, some time in 2022. No need to rush thing while that virus makes live shows impossible.

Violent Divine v 3.0 is also a return to our Divine roots. The songs will be catchy, riff-based, arena-songs where we honor our musical roots and influences in rock. We are also recording in the same studio where we recorded the debut album in just 8 days. We’re not that hyperactive anymore. It’s probably more like 8 months to get those 12-14 songs on tape, but it’s going to be the best one ever!

So, here it is. 8 seconds of true riff-based bliss. Truly Divine!
